I chose the shooting of Michael Brown, because it contradicts the constitution. What happened in the case, was that Michael Brown had stolen items from a convenience store and then shoved the store clerk. A white Ferguson police officer named Daren Wilson was notified about the robbery and was told descriptions of possible suspects. Michael was found walking down the middle of the street and blocking traffic he was with a man named Dorian Johnson. Wilson had noticed the two men had met the robbery suspect’s descriptions so he blocked their way with his car. A witness claimed that Wilson was then assaulted by Brown. Wilson’s gun was then shot off and Michael and Dorian fled, and Wilson in pursuit of catching them fired his gun several times at them. When other police arrived at the scene Brown was found dead. Later after the initial shooting two Ferguson police officers were shot in rage, Wilson was shot. People have disputed about this case, because many people think the reason Brown was confronted and shot the way he was, was because the was a different race. There is tons of controversy over this case and the motive for shooting Brown.
